Hydro-dip out of Boise. Couldn't tell you the pattern but if you show them the photo, I'll be they could.

Damn, I love those rifles Utah!!!
Especially since the cheekpiece and the bolthandles are on the correct side!

Do you recall the undercoat color of your stock? I've heard that can determine the finished color.
I agree, those are the nicer ones I've seen. The pattern looks good without being over the top.

Alright, I went back and dug up my letter of instruction. It is pattern #261, semi-gloss finish.

Probably going to sell the blued one, a 375 H&H.

I think it was in the $125-140 range.
The one thing I don't like about it is that it filled in the checkering pattern more than I would have preferred. So I am not sure I would use it again on a pattern w/ checkering.

Do you have any close up picks of the checkering? I'll second the request . . . . as I have the same concern regarding the coating process filling in checkered areas. That said, the McWoody's pictured here are awesome, but somewhat 'out of reach' for the time being.
I never thought I'd grow up to be a grumpy old man, but I did, and I'm killin' it.
