Some time back I was having at it with some 30/06 buddys. I said you want to talk about power did you ever notice the craters in the moon, Yep they were put there by me and my 270WSM. On another day I told them that I hate letting a half truth stand, and that in truth some of the craters were already there with only the really big ones being mine. I thought this was gonna be about 270W vs 30-06......270WSM's don't count. See the 270 Weatherby............ Casey

I accidentally shot it away back in '52 when I wasn't watching where I was aiming...

Since its rumered that the earth is round, in the unlikely event you should miss a deer by holding to high with a 270 duck down and get out of the way, the bullet will be back real quick. Also it will have dropped the inch or so for a kill on that monster buck on the next pass.

I accidentally shot it away back in '52 when I wasn't watching where I was aiming... I wondered who done that I was only 1 back in '52 and all my parents would let me have was a 30/06 so I couldn't hurt my self you know.

Back in 2006 I was careless with the .270 a second time.
Now Pluto is no longer a planet. I better stop using those Nosler Partitions, the way they over penetrate..

Almost forgot, Their starting to use the '06 with 220grainers for anistedic in surgery. A quick shot up side the head and they know you will be out for 20 min. or so and wake up with no side effects. I know I can't spell for chit.
