I think Cabelas is "just open and not open for business" these days....They seem to have really run off track from the old days...Thanks anyway!

Uh, ever thought of looking up other numbers? Calling other stores? I'm pretty sure Cabela's maintains more than one telephone line and more than one store.

Damn, I dialed and got right through. In fact, I'm talking to Bill in the Gun Library right now.

Maybe you just don't know how to use a telephone.

Guess what? The gun is available right now. Bill is waiting on your call.

What are you, like 12? You don't think it's possible to get ahold of someone who can get the information you request? You don't think it's possible for someone to contact the Gun Library to let them know a cash buyer is trying to reach them? You're not a particularly determined buyer, that's for damned sure.

Bill went and got the gun while I waited on hold. The gun is available and Cabela's has a three-day inspection period. You either want the gun or you're wasting everyone's time. Which is it?

Do you want to buy the gun or not? It's a simple question.

Sh*thead? No, that's a DICKHEAD, time wasting, tire kicker who talks a good line of trash, but doesn't ever follow through on anything. In short, that would be YOU.

And if you're allowing yourself to be intimidated from buying something you want and can afford because you have a personality conflict with an anonymous figure on the internet, then you never possessed the self-confidence or temerity to EVER follow through on the decidedly ADULT action of transacting business with cash for consumer goods.

Rifle,
I have a 1S in .338, red pad and a pretty nice piece of wood. It has good figure;no box. I don't see any figure in that one in the Link. I'll take a $1000.00 for it shipped to your FFL. If interested at that price, PM me and I will tell you how to call me.

I don't think he's particularly interested in "buying" as much as he's interested in trading his collection of goats, bottle caps, and really cool Mossbergs. He started with a lame-ass EXCUSE of not being able to reach the Rapid City, South Dakota Cabela's store via telephone -- how chickensh*t is THAT? -- then he doesn't want to buy because it reminds him of his discussion with me. I suppose his next way out will be he doesn't do business on the Sabbath. At any rate, he's been offered three rifles meeting his needs all priced within $100 of each other. Three rifles offered to him within three hours of posting his query. I don't think he's serious about buying and he's not someone with whom any serious seller would bother. And he is a bother.

Rifle,
I have a 1s, red pad with pretty dang nice wood...it also has a Moyers trigger in it. I would really like to get Mudhen's 338-06, so I would make you a heck of a deal!
PM me if you are interested in discussing it.

Todd
