The stats are not fresh. The Marines of 3rdBn, 5th Marines. aka "The Darkhorse Battalion" have lost over 25 in Afghanistan since last October.
This is one kickass bunch of Marines in one of the toughest parts of that miserable hellhole.
Thank you for posting it, though, we still need reminding that young men are writing that check every day, and some are being cashed.
My thoughts and prayers go to those who we have lost, for those Marines left behind, and their families.
