Here in Australia Nissan will release the 2005 Pathfinder that you already have in the U.S. Just curious if anyone has one as I am going to consider it here. We will also have the option of a diesel engine - a 4 cylinder direct rail injection engine producing 128kw and 400 nm of torque. (Have no idea what that is in h.p.).
I fancy the diesel engine as I believe it to be really ecanomical (about 8.5 litres/100kms) I think thats about 30 - 32 mpg but could stand corrected?
I know the diesel engine would seem puny to you guys over there but we are more used to smaller capacity engines here and also our fuel is more expensive here, particularly diesel.
Anyone on this forum have one over there and if so any comments?

I asked about Pathfinders in general recently -- should turn up if you search this forum.
Turns out my boss has had three of them with no problems. (All here are the standard 3.5L engine.) I'm going to buy one myself, probably an '01 or so, very soon.
Looking at the SE model, which supposedly is more off-road friendly and available w/ cloth seats (more dog-friendly) and has about all the bells & whistles I can stand.
I know nothing about the '05 except that the styling isn't my cup of tea at all.
