had the exact ranch hand summit bullnose your looking at on my 07 f150 FX4. only added a bit over 100 lbs - no mods were needed. Just sold the truck but was very happy with the set up

If you have them, tow hooks can sometimes be used for jack points.

This thread got my rememberer going. Many years ago, Dad had a '49 Ford pickup. The rear bumper was all bent up so he was making one from a piece of VERY heavy angle iron. He had it bolted in place and had used a torch to cut the ends at an angle but he hadn't finished it yet. They stuck out maybe 6" and were sharp. I was making a left turn and was waiting for an oncoming car when the guy behind me tried to pass me on the right. He got too close and hooked the sharp end of the bumper. He didn't bother to stop but as he drove away, I could see a large rip all the way along the side of his car. Didn't hurt the bumper a bit.

I put that bumper on today, what an awesome fit up, very easy install. I'm impressed with the ranch hand bumpers.

the hi lift story made me think of my buddys new silverado in maine a few years ago... jacked the ass end up for some sticks to get out and forgot to pull the jack after setting it down... went right through the tailgate when he gave it hell... smile

Just remember to have the screws in the highlift handle tight FREAKING TIGHT.

if your wet hands let that slip out it will spring up and launch that handle over the truck, or thru the windscreen like a javelin launched from a catapult! Ask how I know this!

Highlifts are the single best tool an off road truck can or should have. But be patient and don't get in a hurry with it. They can ruin your day as much as help bail you out of a jam.

Naw, I didn't even know about it grin

He's a great guy, I wouldn't have tried to use his coupon if I did know about it because I know he's fair with me and he does a great job.
