Course you can still get a back seat in a 68-70 RR with it being tubbed with a little work.

Can't say much... one of my girlfriend's in college had this tiny little Toyota thing with a hint of a backseat (front seats for any decent sized person were jammed into it, just to keep the knees out of the dashboard). No way in Hell you could use the back seat. And, it was a hatchback, thing, so no way to gain any space by popping the back and laying the seat down either. Didn't matter.... the hood had just enough room.

Not with her driving record.
Nope Well, she actually does pretty good but.. the road runner, although it's no supercar, is a bit of a different animal than her little pony car.
Something clever here.

Now Dave....tell the truth..how many little incidents has she had? 3? the road runner, although it's no supercar, is a bit of a different animal than her little pony car. Very very true...even in stock form 335 HP, that is one fire breathing tire eating machine. *grin*

I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.

I love that copper color. I love that color too- enough that I had three early '70's GM products in it, and all three had white vinyl tops. I think the GM color was a shade darker than on that RR pic. I'm not sure where to even look for the pictures of those cars- if I find them I'll scan. 1972 Pontiac Lemans Sport 455cid 1972 Monte Carlo 454cid 1972 Grand Prix SJ 455cid

If you get a chance, give us a shot of the whole car. There can't be very much sheet metal left on it.

She'll be on the mend as soo as I get a dry and sunny day to roll her outside for some sandblasting. I want to blast and rust proof the structural areas in the back before I seal those frame channels up with a new trunk skin.

I know, I just didn't know how it would go with the brown interior...
A friend remined me that "It worked for the smokey and the bandit car..."
Hmmm, I guess it did....

Pull that interior. Get yourself a really nice set of velvet seats. Get some of those little fuzzy yarn balls that hang from the window frames like the low rider guys use too.

this also could work... Looks good, but living 3/10 ths of a mile back on a dirt road it would never stay clean. Don't ask me how I know, after owning two Black Ford Rangers it'll never happen again.
