I use pickle or olive jars, splitting the quart up into smaller quantities. You can buy empty new paint cans from McMaster-Carr as well, half-pint on up in size. I've used those for splitting up adhesives like 3M 1300L into smaller quantities to keep it from drying out.

good stuff almost impossible to get off once it cures. it'll take days to wear off your skin if you get it on you.

I've never seen a quart of paint put up this kind of fight, seriously, is this normal? not open yet... finally... mess and all... I test fit the trunk floor pan and marked it from under the car for drilling the holes that will be plug welded to the frame rails. The green tape is to keep the weld surfaces clean. I peeled the tape and sprayed those areas with a weld through zinc primer. Good thing you didn't use blue tape..

MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone) is your friend- it will take POR off if you get to it before it's completely dry. Hardware or lumber yard should have it in the paint department; I always keep a quart or two around. POR's thinner/cleaner will burn your skin- more for getting it off objects, not skin.

You need one of those paint can openers from Menard's.

What I needed was one of those old oil can puncture spouts like my grandpa used to use at his service station.

I'd go with the copper. More unique and easier to keep clean.

Since nobody can come to an agreement on paint color I think you should just do it like this... That way everybody will have their favorite color in there somewhere

If I let my youngest boy and the rest of the 1st grade class fingerpaint the car that is what it would look like.
