I'd go with Powder Valley or Mid-South Shooters Supply.

Midway tried to charge me a Hazmat fee for primers and another for powder on the same order so I quit getting it from there.

What about guns?When do we get guns?

In my 22 1/2", 8 twist rifle using WW brass, CCI400's and sans moly I got the following:

25.5 = 2970 fps
26.0 = 3020 fps and stupid small groups, as in 0.4" or so at 100 yards.
26.5 = 3090 fps but groups were a bit larger and pressures had to be getting up.

With the 26.0 grain load, primer pockets lasted forever so I called it load complete. That load, in your rifle, may of course blow your ass up so be sure to work up! grin

Haha will do. I can't make my mind up on which to try confused I'll be shooting a real similar setup. 23in barrel, 8" twist, and moly but with lapua brass. Hoping to get >3000fps with the setup. I'll get on powder valley and grab a pound or 2 of TAC.

Thanks

Wellll.....FWIW some idiot named Larry talked me into shooting H335 in my .223AI...sure enough it was a tad better than my "go to" IMR 4895. 28.5 grains behind a 50 grain bullet.
And some other dude here on the fire named JB got me going on TAC in my .223... my rifles like a minimal charge of 24 grains of TAC behind a 55 gr. Hornady for high volume gopher shooting ( 2 rifles like the same load grin )

So the bottom line with powders, like rifles...is that I'm a slut....

Don't think so; I have always said if you're gonna go dirty, might as well 2230.

Never guess what bullet I tried in the Sako today.....you're gonna schit!

The first 2230 I used was 8 pounds of "MR-223". The stuff shot great, but I really think whatever source makes it now has a definite winner.

Brett- I have not yet, and can only guess at this stage but by the trajectory and past experience they are 3500 fps or so...

6 BR where the H335 and AA2230 really shines with the 55g-70g bullets.
