We have these little wild Blackberries that are to die for. They're about the size of your pinky finger nail, the flavor is super intense. The same goes for wild Strawberries, small but super tasty.

probably raspberries, than bannanas, than apples that arent just sweet, they need a bite to them......if we are talking processed ill take buffaloberry jelly over most anything though my grandmothers applebutter made with crabapples is a close second.....

you can buy it in stores but near as i can figure the store bought stuff is made with sweet apples and tastes real bland compared to the stuff made with crabapples prolly cause it doesnt have the tart to balance out the sweet......

I haven't had Applebutter in years. We put up 42 jars this past apple season. Those NC apples make some amazing AB.

I like just about all fruit that is picked ripe, the more locally grown the better.
Even the kind that aren't 'favorites' are still better than the 'favorites' picked green and shipped in.d
1. wild blackberrys, (pie)
2. wild black raspberrys (jelly)
3. fresh peaches (mashed, sugared, on ice cream)
4. fresh strawberries (mashed, sugared, on ice cream or shortcake)
5. oranges
6. most everything else
