I picked up an original M700 TI in 7mm-08 last week. It's used but not abused, has the J-lock and box.
What are these going for these days?
Thanks.

Tom264 is right in there. They go from $900 to $1200. I saw one locally at an AUCTION of all places and it went for $1350. The original TI's bring some premium dollars now days. I sold a .260 about 5-6 yrs ago for half that....wish i had it to sale today!!!!! My brother picked up a .30-06 a couple yrs back for $800.
Some bargains are out there....but hard to find one!!

I paid 7 bills for one a month or so back. Was rode hard and needed a little TLC, but nothing a little paint and part swapping didn't fix.

Thanks. Kevin, you're supposed to axe prior to purchasing. I'm with the others; 900-1200 is about the going rate. Some a wee less.

A few years ago I had a chance to pick up a Ti in 708 for $600 if I remember correctly. Guy was hurting for money bad and of course so was I, so I didnt buy it. This was back in 2002 or 2003.

I picked up an original M700 TI in 7mm-08 last week. Congrats - they're about as easy to find as a Montana in 7-08...

This past month was my "7mm-08 Mountain Rifle Month" because I also lucked into this one. [img:left] [/img] ANIB from 1988(IIRC), un-fired, spotless, with special ordered factory stock and topped with a 2.5X8 Leupy. [img:left] [/img] [img:left] [/img]

I just got extremely lucky. Both of these were listed in local papers.

Thanks! I'll probably keep the walnut one, my Son's got his eye on it, but may flip the TI. It's actually too light for my taste. I got a LVSF .308 a couple years ago, stuck it in a TI stock and think it's about perfection.

There's a 308 on Gunbroker getting bids into the $1400's. I'd bet yours would pull a high bid since it seems the most rare caliber to find one in. Wait until there's no competition and take great pics. You never know what someone is willing to pay unless you ask.
