25% of the oil the US consumes comes from the Middle East. It's the good stuff you can make into gasoline. The junk oil we get locally is ok for making ashphalt, flower pots, and McMillian stocks. And you continue to be a [bleep] idiot and more clueless than you are about rifles. Oil from Saudi and the entire Gulf area is NOT used for the refinement of gasoline as it is not sufficiently light to refine into Gasoline. Most of our "Sweet Crude", the type of oil used to make gasoline comes to us mostly from Venezuela. You need to replace that [bleep] Little Lord Flauntleroy beanie with a dunce cap, or better yet, why don't you stand in front of a 700, load a round and play with the safety...
