I don't take anything posted here very seriously. I actually have a life. A few folks post factual info. I appreciate their comments.
Many here have given me parts, advise, and encouragement to continue this mission. Megga dittos to them. Just...wow.
If there's one thing I've become certain of it's that there's too much certainty in the world.

So you want moderation on this forum? Everyone says they don't. Rick will do what he thinks is right, when he thinks it's right. If he pisses ya'll off that bad, just ignore him. When you respond with name calling, it only encourages him. I've shot Remington's most of my life, and have been fortunate that 98% have been good shooters. I, however do NOT think they are the "BEST IN THE WORLD", or that every one that leaves the factory will shoot a 1/2" or better. If you quit interacting with him, he will eventually leave.

I never understand why the mods don't lock these threads more. No, if someone goes out of their way to post irrelevant and erroneous BS in other people threads solely for the reaction then we gang up on him. As it should be. You may have tolerance for trolls but I don't and many other don't either.

I don't mind one bit if Swampy think 700's are the best in the world. He's entitled to that opinion.
When he disparages and dismisses other people experiences is what I have a problem with.

I am a mod on another gun board and I would lock the thread IM all involved and move on. I guess the owner does not want to actively moderate the site.
