I've been hunting out of this 1967 beater for a few years now - don't mind tracking mud and blood in it! This is from 2009. My spikes head is on the ground by the trailer tongue. laugh

I'm with Saddlescore. I've been throughly spoiled by my 10 ft. Lance Camper. I'd much rather get up at 2-3:00 AM, have a hot breakfast, and drive an hour to a trailhead. After a day on the trail, hunting in where the horse back hunters hunt, I sure appreciate a hot shower, and warm, forced air heated camp.
When the weather is unhuntable, I can spend the day, comfortably, either playing on my computer or reading something. E

nothing wrong with hunting out of the camper. until it snows you in and you leave it up on the hill all winter. i have seen rigs parked until the following june in some spots.

This is usually my elk camp unless I just decide to hunt from home which is only 10 or so miles away.

It's really rough. We have to haul in drinking water.

This place is on the ranch we live on. We also do guided hunts out of here.

wow. this is an awesome thread. some of you guys are pretty darned creative. I'm impressed (and will be hunting out of a camper parked at a private campground (elec, water, showers, sh$tter and all) in 2 months and 3 days....nothing fancy, and desperately needs some blood on it. smile
