I have two 2009 models and two 2011 models, the two 09's are for sale as I can't justify owning four compound bows..............Hillbilly.

I could justify 4 but only have 3 compounds. 2010 Hoyt Vantage LTD (Hunting and target finger's bow), 2010 Hoyt Carbon Matrix (hunting release bow and 3D), 2010 Hoyt Contender Elite (Target release bow).

I had a Whitetail and a Whitetail II. Took my first deer with the whitetail.

'06 Mathews black max II w/ turbo cam, its a fast accurate hard hittin' MOFO.
My other bow IIRC is a very early 90's Oregon Deschutte's round wheel bow, not as fast as the newer superbows, but I can not bring myself to sell that Cadillac, its the quietest, smoothest, most accuratly forgiving bow I have ever shot.

2007 Hoyt Vulcan - prior to that I bought a pair of new bows nearly every other year.

Late 1970's Jennings Split T that I keep around just so I can see how it was when I first started. Weighs a ton, is loud, slow, and not particularly balanced...but I killed just as many deer as I did with much later versions of Martins, Bowtechs, Matthews and Hoyts. Nothing on it other than a flipper rest and a berger button a 2 pin plain sight.

I bought mine used years ago from my cousin. Its a 1998 Darton Yukon, I pulled it out of the attic this summer and it still shot great so I am taking it hunting next weekend. Maybe I will actually kill a deer with it this year.

Whatever a 7x57 can do a 270 can do better.

If it's been in the attic thru the summer I'm suprised it hasn't let go already or about to.

Shot a 1994 PSE Fire-Flite from when I bought it new in '95 on closeout until just this year. Just purchased a 2011 Mathews eZ7. I would think this one will see use at least as long, if not longer, than my previous bow.

I am shooting a 2002 Hoyt Vortec with 80lb limbs(currently set to 75lb) I shoot heavy carbons and 125gr heads which has been very lethal on everything so far. I have killed deer, bear, elk, cougar, turkey, bison and various small game with it and it feels like an old glove.

2006 Martin Pantera - 70 lb. limbs, 31" draw.

Heavy, solid, quiet, and shoots bullets...

Pretty sure I would pull the arrow out of that pigs ass before I claimed it shot bullets.

I would say that arrow is clearly infront of that pigs hip and rear leg. At that angle and as deep as that arrow is I would say that is a well placed arrow.

I also am not primarily an archery hunter. I hunt with a bow to take advantage of the early seasons. For that reason, once I found something that works I haven't made much effort to up-grade.

I still shoot an early '80's version of the Onieda Screaming Eagle......and it still works as well as when i bought it.
