Aussies can also use the Chinese copy of the 1887 Winchester leveraction shotgun, although perhaps not for wildfowl. You see, that's so obscure that the legislators didn't know about it, although they DID know about pumps and autoloaders. I've read about some very wild things done to those implements, too. Aimpoints, rifle sights, etc, action jobs.....
Aussies are pretty good at making silk purses out of sow's ears, but it's a real struggle, which is why Con's work is valuable to his fellow hunters. They often operate under conditions that would make us throw up our hands and say "[bleep] it".

You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.

Amen to the 2 3/4 inchers.

Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.

Happily Trapped In the Past (Thanks, Joe)

Not only a less than minimally educated person, but stupid and out of touch as well.
