That's not mine, but I have made/used several in my youth, fun, lots of range, though takes LOTS or practice. Now the other kind, using rubber - took my share of local small game.
I think they are employed out West by a few who need to get game out their beds i.e. Mulies.
About as light as a lethal weapon can be that I know of - accuracy is 'user dependent' as always

This 1 could've been lighter (9 lbs.) but i went with the big Pac-Nor for addtl. weight in this 7-twist barrel to help with the torque generated by the 200 Wildcat out of a 7-270 WSM. Doesn't get much more portable though----
It's been pushing the 162 Amax down range at just over 3000fps with potential still untapped.
have you shot any game with the 162gr A-Max?
No I haven't but given the glowing reports I hear from people I trust (Big Stick for one) I have every confidence that they'll do the trick just fine when I do.
The Chosin Few November to December 1950, Korea. I'm not one of the Chosin Few but no more remarkable group of Americans ever existed.
Nothing too fancy, really. But it shoots 140 AccuBonds and TSX's dead nutz as far as I've ever tried it(600m).

GAP nontypical 7 WSM with 24" #3 bbl, Mcmillan edge stock. No problem getting 3300 fps with the 140 AB's. She's around 7 1/2 lbs with the scope, and although more difficult to shoot itty bitty groups due to light weight, I have no problem shooting 3/4 MOA groups at 700 yards. It's an all arounder- a rifle to use both on close range stands, as well as the occasional long range shot
That's a nice rifle! What action?

Remington 700 in 6.5-06 running a Hart 8 twist. 6 pounds 4 ounces. 7 pounds and an ounce with the scope. Shot it yesterday at 650 yards laying prone with a bipod. Scoped tracked perfectly and despite a quartering wind, it stuck my only 4 rounds into 7", with 3 of those in 2.5". Favorite rig I have.
