A poorly worded pledge, is one I'd not sign.
Think about it.... I agree in principle. But this is politics. You can't mix the two (apparently). They don't follow this pledge, why would they follow that one? I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

These social issue are going to keep Obama in office. DITTOS. I don't see how the Republican Party can overcome the Neocon and Christian Social Conservative factions of the party.

I don't think any government should get into peoples lives. All governments should stay out of personal, private matters!
