Sounds like perfect camping weather. How are the bugs, we've had a real wet spring and the mosquitos are bad already?

Which leads me to the next question, what do you suggest a fella bring along? They don't usually bother me to bad, but I don't know what your blood suckers are like...:)

Brad,
We will have some mosquito coils and sticks to burn if they are real bad. A long sleeve shirt, loose pants and a hat takes care of most. I personally try not to use any repellant but many others do.

I am really looking foward to the camp, looks like its definitely going to be worth the 8 hour drive. Mabye we should also have kinda like a swap meet at the camp? Bring all the gear you would like to move along and lay it out on blankets in front of our tipi's. That's not a bad idea, I've got some carbon fibre hiking poles that are available.

About how many are we looking at for attendance? How many are not from MT. I noticed, WA & KY. How many other states?

Ed,
For this first Camp we are limiting attendance to 10. Looks like we will have folks from MT, WY, WA, ID, KY, CO and possibly MO and CA.

Ed, I JUST got your e-mail from 4-25. I'll have a check in the mail next week sometime. Sorry for the delay.
I still have that medium stove in my man cave, it has yet to be burned... You want me to bring it?
I'm Irish...
Of course I know how to patch drywall

Ed, What is the "backcountry skills camp" about? I presume it is what it says. But curious to get more detail. Thanx

Just home from the camp, :-)
What a success, pictorial essay to follow. What a great crew on this trip, and the food was fantastic.
The honor of meeting Mr. Smith was a true pleasure & surprise, think of it as icing on the cake.
Kudos Ed_t
