New, never taken out of the shipping sleeve 27" Brux barrel blanks. Made a duplicate order so I have a couple of these to sell. 6.5mm bore 1-in-8" twist #4 Sporter Contour (Same as #3 from Bartlein) Cut-rifled Blank measures 0.660" near muzzle. Should finish out nearly identical to a factory Remington sporter barrel. Brux makes some of the finest barrels on the market with numerous championships and records in several shooting sports. My last Brux 6.5mm tube was as accurate as any barrel I've ever seen. During load development I had five different sub-half-moa groups (5 shots per) with five different powder charges on one target. Hard to top that! http://www.bruxbarrels.com/gpage2.htmlhttp://www.6mmbr.com/barrels.html (recommended) http://weww.snipershide.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2487426 (Discussion & reviews) To your door in a few days for $300 ea. email me at urbancarbine yahoo.com Thanks, Kyle

BTW, what groove config and do you have a weight on your blank?
Thanks.

Thanks. My previous Brux was a #5 (light target or light palma, I can't recall). It was just stupid accurate. At 26" it gave 2850fps with RE17 and no pressure at all. I actually went up over 2900 fps without pressure, but accuracy wasn't quite as good (a mere 3/4 MOA ). Brux contour chart: These blanks as is; un-chambered, un-threaded, full shank, and a full 27" long weigh 4 lbs. Once chambered, cut, threaded and shank brought down to where it should be I'd say the finished product will be between 3.0 and 3.5 lbs depending on your tastes in barrel length, shank length, etc.... This should put you on track to build a perfect 7lb sporter-weight rifle. Of course, you could always have the blank fluted and save another 1/2 lb or so if you wanted. It is killing me to not build a 6.5 WSM or 6.5 SAUM on one of these..... Kyle

Forgot to add....
I'm building a .260 on one of these with a 1" shank length. Blank as shipped has a 2.75" shank length to allow you plenty of options.
Thanks
Might take Remmy 700 short actions on trade, too.
