Every year deer and elk are posted first. Then antelope. Just what I've noticed. But I'm betting around the 20th also. mtmuley

The antelope (and deer and elk) drawings used to be in August, but it's been July the past few years, I suspect since they started taking applications over the Net. A lot fewer envelopes to open!

I know I won't be getting one....

I didn't apply. I was at work at 3:00 on the 1st thinking "I just know I forgot to do something"


So I won't be bowhunting Elk on the CMR either

Don't expect anything until August. They don't draw until the last week of July. The left-over tags go on sale August 8 after the drawings are final.
