Can you do this?

I shot the smallest group at this past weekend's 1K match.

That's nice, but you missed the bullseye.

I was waiting for that......

In BR matches, there are two winner per relay, one for smallest group, one for highest score. While I try to put them in the middle, I shoot for group, and take what score I can.

Remember too, the X ring is only 3" and the ten ring is 7".

I knew you were waiting for that, and I did not want to disappoint. As I said, it's nice shooting.

BTW, the F-class target has a 5 inch X-ring and the 10-ring is 10 inches. And a string is either 15 or 20 rounds. Different discipline and they all have their value and degree of difficulty.

In 1K BR, there's two classifications for guns, Light Gun with 5 shot groups, and Heavy Gun with 10 shot groups. 17 pound limit on Light, none on Heavy.

Here's two Heavy targets from this weekend's match:

5.9"

The benchrest crowd continues to amaze me. That is some fine shooting.

Was that with a .308 Winchester?

cash price fun shoot. You got two sighters which were marked and then your 5 shot unmarked string.
