This rifle was usually made in .30-30, and .35 Remingtons are relatively rare. They aren't fancy but they work very well.
This one has a few of the standard small dings but is otherwise in very good shape. The trigger has been reworked to a pretty decent 4-pound pull. It weighs right at 7 pounds with the open sights (22" barrel), but it's drilled and tapped for scope mounts. The safety is on the tang. I've shot it with a scope and it will go 1-1/2" or a little less for 3 shots at 100 yards, and tends to put different bullet weights in the same place.
