I have the Lowa Sheep Hunters and wear the same size in the Sasslong, fwiw.

Perfect fit in both makes for me (Danners too)

Well over the holiday weekend made a drive up to the STP close to me (Reno) and tried on a whole slew of Asolo, Lowa, La Sportiva.

Walked out with 4 pairs of boots! Yeah early Christmas!

2 pairs of Sass's
2 pairs of FN95

Dang those boots fit good!

Then hiked Castle Peak the same day to break a pair of Sass's...no blisters/chaffing etc.

They are the stuff, best bang for my dollar!

Thanks MtnHtr and others for all the info!

I haven't really been out of town with my Sasslongs yet but every time I put them on I am really happy with the fit. Now if we can just get some of the snow out of the high country I'll be ready to go!

Ordered some on the 27th at 113 plus shipping, was just less than 127... Came home from vacation and they were waiting.

Anyway, I have had them in my cart for over a month, everytime they email a sale I checked what price they are in the cart, figured I pull the trigger at 140, did better than that.

Dadgum, thanks hunt, I worked through it and got a pair for 104. Had to hunt for the code with help from a girl at s.t.post. Thanks for my first good deal since my first divorce.

Thanks for the heads up on these boots.

I have been looking for a good pair of boots for my elk hunt next year and was starting to get pretty serious. I have been looking at the danner pronghorns but with all the good reviews on thes boots and the deals you guys have been getting I had to try.

Just placed the order at sierra trading post and with a quick google search lucked into a 45% off with free shipping. Ended up with size 12 W for $104 shipped. they were backordered so i have to wait but at that price who cares. Heck at that price I might still end up with the pronghorns as well.

Thanks again guys.
