That's great advice if you can find or know a dilligent attorney. The hard part is knowing in advance whether they're dilligent or not.
I wrote a nice long rant on the subject but I won't post it out of respect for those in the legal profession with a conscience.

Dont waste it, PM me  I will know today how it will play out. The HOA is picking up the paperwork from their attorney and faxing it to the mortgage company within the next half hour. They have already called me this morning to let me know they are heading over

Make sure a release of lien (or whatever your state calls it) gets recorded by whichever office recorded the lien (County Recorder here). The HOA attorney or HOA should do that but good to check.
