You never know how things will turn out.In my safe are two rifles in 25-06 and one in .257 Weatherby.I could not tell you why I had them. Now my daughter has taken up shooting and choose the Rem.700.Now I have the Tikka T3 in 25-06 and the .257.Im thinking the grandson gets the Tikka. It is all coming together nicely. Now if I just knew what the others were for.

I've been reading a lot of great reviews on the EW,so I looked at the Winchester site and see they're offing it in 7WSM.

The 7WSM won't do anything that a rifle already in my safe won't do. Thats the only thing holding me back.

Don't lose hope in an Extreme Weather in 7mm WSM. I just picked up a Stainless Featherweight in 7mm-08. It's been listed as a "Shot Show Special" on Winchester's web page since 2010.

FWIW, I have a NH Featherweight 7mm WSM. It's my favorite Model 70 out of the six I own. Best of the short mags.

Ooops! Didn't know that. Just responding to the OP's first statement.

Shot an Abolt Comp Stalker 7 short and fat for a while, 160's make it bark, and bite. No worse than the rest thought smile .
