I was gonna say easy 4.5 for a minnysoda deer, big ol' swayback on him heavy chest and neck, I think T may be overscoring him a bit at 150 but he is close, the side facing looks lighter then the other.
In any event he'd be jerky on the dryer and straps on the grill....:)

Hey Ryan, do you think that catfish will still be biting during opener? I'll be hunting right next to the Boise De Sioux. They've been pulling some good ones out during the summer. I have no idea, although I would say if you're going to go fishin for cats, use sucker minnows that have been dead a day and cut them in half. cats at this time of year love em, and they taste great. focus on deep holes, upstream late afternoon through late night. good luck!

The complete gut/remodel of the kitchen is done.It has taken right at a month.The old furnace has been hauled off along with the old HVAC unit and the new HVAC/heating gas pack is installed,the crappy oak tree in the back yard is gone,the stump is ground up.I'm tired as can be (from writing checks).I'm broke.Mama is happy.
NOW I can concentrate on deer hunting for the rest of the season.
This morning is the coldest of the year so far.34 degrees.The rut has started and they are moving.Monday morning I am going.Today is taken by other commitments.
In the words of my six year old grandson years ago, "Beware you tasty animals".

Well "T" you're not the only one who can bake. Just finished up helping the wife make haloween cookies. She did the rollen and I did the baken. Managed to burn a few for me of course.
My daughter will be taking them to school on Monday for her students to frost and eat.
Have to run out later and pick up some candy for the trick-or-treaters which is tonight here.

Beautiful weekend in the woods. I picked out a spot for my enclosed stand. Just having some breakfast at the cabin and we will head out across the swamp with the tractor to put the stand up in the cedars. We got plexiglass windows for these 2 new stands too. Refurb buddy heaters are on the way from cabelas, it's gonna be comfy!
