Great job there Rory. Will have to put my Sandhills hunt pics in deer hunting as my 99 was acting up and had to use my brother's backup rifle.

my 99 was acting up and had to use my brother's backup rifle. Whut!!!  Sure it wasn't 'user error'??

Yeah, I know. I wish it were that simple. I need to tighen some things up as the rounds would not feed up for me. Will get that taken care of soon, but a dead deer is a dead deer... I won't go hungry this winter.

Sorry to hear about the problems with the 99, Jim. Now you know why I always take a 2nd rifle with me.

I was fortunate that my brother actually brought 3 rifles so I did not think I needed to haul up more than one, plus I had my 41 mag on my side. Next year, I will bring up more than one, regardless. Jim
