Anyone have experience reloading this cartridge? Looking for some "pet" loads. Have it in a ruger m77. Also looking at the hornady .358 ftx bullet to try in this gun. Thanks

I don't know about the FTX in the .350 Rem. Mag. . That bullet was designed with the .35 Rem. in mind I believe . The .350 might be too much velocity for it , on game performance might be iffy .

Want to try 200 gr. bullets for now on deer. bought the rifle for up coming bear hunt next year. shot it with rem factory corelocks which shot fairly well but cost is prohibitive. have a box of the hornady ftx bullets id like to try

Try 50gr of IMR4895 with the FTX bullet. That's the load I've got for my 660 350mag. I have not used it on game yet. It's very accurate in my rifle. If you push the FTX too fast you'll most likely get bad results because as posted they're for the 35 Remington. For bear the 220gr Speer bullets are touted as a tough bullet. Contact Ramshot powder for load info using TAC powder. It gives a high velocity in the 350 mag.

I've used the 200 Hornady Spire pt, the 225 Sierra and the 225 Nosler partition on deer, all loaded with either H-4895 or IMR 4320 to about 2600-2650 fps. They all worked very well...kinda like a big hammer!!!

62.0 grains of TAC, 200 grain Barnes flat base TSX, Rem brass, Fed GM215M primers, and a COL of 2.814". Rifle is an older Rem Custom Shop Model 7 KS, 20" barrel.

Did not check velocity, but according to Barnes, they tested with a 20" barrel too, so maybe 2825 fps TAC is what you want, especially when dealing with magazine constraints.

Yeah. Barnes runs it up to 64.0 grains @ 2943 fps. That will knock your hat off, and your boots. whistle

225 Sierras for deer, Partitions for anything mean/larger.

4895 and 4320 will do you well.

158 pistol bullets for cheap plinking/practice to short/medium ranges. WILL do deer well at a mere 2k as proven by 357 Levers...

I currently run the 200 TSX FB at 2840fps via 20" tube using a max load of Benchmark. Accuracy is phenomenal and lethality is well............LETHAL!

When the TSX's are gone I'll definitely be trying the 200gr TTSX BT with TAC in search of the "High Life"............grin!

I just picked up a 350 Rem Mag today and plan on using the TSX load mentioned above.
