Getting ready to purchase some bullets and wondered what diameter and weight others are using. I have some published data that shows .311, .312, and .313 diameter bullets. I plan on shooting 150 grain bullets and start out with IMR 4064. Thanks for any tech information on this round. It is much appreciated.

I use 150 gr. Hornady .303 bullets that shoot fine in my '91 Mauser. If they don't fit the bore precisely to start with they do after obturation with a full charge of 4895.

I have never reloaded the 7.65, but Ken Waters did an article on it in '71. With 150 gr. sierra's he worked up to 45 gr. of imr 4064, fed 210's for 2768 mv. 174 gr Hornady rn's and up to 43 gr. of imr 4064 for 2487 mv. I am a military mauser fan. I always wanted a argentine 1909 to add to my collection, but i have never gotten around to getting one. 8x57
