Thought a few of you AR junkies might want to check this out. Take a 6.5 Creedmoor case, neck it down to 6MM and push 105's at 3000fps+....so far, so good.

8 shots on this plate at 460 meters from prone when it was 10* below zero showed me this rifle will work in the cold. When it gets really cold I'll test it again. FWIW, I used my range card for my 6XC and 105gr scenars at 3050fps. The test loads I shot in this rifle are 105gr Hornady BTHP. Barrel is a 23" Bartlein 5R 1-8". Scope is a S&B 3-12X50 PMII Mil/Mil.

Thanks Sendero. Looking at POF's website, believe it or not, it's actually cheaper to order a rifle from GAP. lol

Yep, that's kinda what I was thinking. I know if I was going to plunk down the coin on one, I'd be going with GAP.

doesn't take a known name to make an AR shoot, thats what I love laughing about.. you don't get any more accuracy out of an expensive wilson vs a WOP gun.

Laugh all you want.....show up here next spring and bring your most accurate AR and we'll see what happens.

You ever have anything positive to say about anything?

Nope, every last post I make is negative.

But then again some confuse facts for negativity.

Bolt guns are another story, ARs not so much.

I agree 100% with AR15's. AR10's I don't know, they are a different critter. Zediker has written about how fragile they were in the early days, that is what drove him and others to make the AR15 work for hi-power competition, and it was the civilians that made it happen and handed the AMU thier a$$ for a couple of years until they retooled.

My AR10 experience is limited to a couple of DMPS SASS rifles that belong to a company I've worked for, they have, IIRC, barrels from Montana Barrel. They will shoot, and appear to be reliable. You can read some less than glowing reviews on other DPMS models. Time will tell.
