yeah, he is beyond creepy...and the whole keeping a couple of dozen teenage chick therapy patients as foster kids thing is a little too strange for me. Over half a million kids in foster care right now, in the USA. Lots of foster parents out there, and they understand Bachman. I've got two foster kids in the house right now. Over 15 in the last 5 years have come and gone. In a few hours, they'll wake up and we are going hunting. It's either folks step up and become foster parents, or kids spend their youth in mental institutions and residential treatments centers.

I heard on one of the talk radio shows today where the host recommended RP for Treasury Secretary in the new Republican administration.
Interesting thought.
But I thought he was insane, or senile, or some such. Wouldn't it be inappropriate to appoint an insane man to such a prominent post? YES!! You, at least, are consistent in being wrong.

Calvin...I'm all for foster parenting....but the Bachman's situation was a quite a bit weirder than that. You can google up the details if you want, but it was pretty strange, and all taxpayer funded.

Chris actually had to WORK in school this week; the kids demanded he actually do something. Don't worry... they've learned their lesson and won't do that again. somebody must have forgotten to include this one in the Paulbot spamming instructions last night:
Ron Paul Loses First Online Poll
Breaking a precedent of several years duration now, Ron Paul has finally lost an online poll. Indeed, he has come in fourth in the Townhall/HotAir primary, whose results show Newt Gingrich way out front:
Newt Gingrich: 36.5% Mitt Romney: 18.8% Michele Bachmann: 17.7% Ron Paul: 17.4% Rick Perry: 9.5%
Over 250,000 votes were cast.
