Wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a hunting day pack. I am 6'4" tall and weigh about 250 (during hunting season)

Budget? I ordered a Kifaru Timberline 3 with 24" stays for a day / 1-3 night pack. I'm 6'3".

Badlands 2200 has good lift if Kifaru is not in the budget.
Good Shooting!

Yep, I had a 2200 and it was a good pack. You can also look at the Eberle X2.

Might want to look at the Eberlestock packs. Many of their packs have adjustable and replaceable harnesses and hip belts (larger and smaller). I am considering an Eberlestock X3 as a daypack just because I know I can swap out the hip belt if needed. I am 6'-0", 220lbs. I put an XL hip belt on my Eberlestock Dragonfly to fit over my cold weather hunting clothes in about 5 minutes.
Other brands may also have the adjustable/replaceable features. However, I have been satisfied with Eberlestock .

i'll have to check these out. i'm 6'6" and weigh 260 . i can't ever find a good dayback with hipbelt that will fit right.
My idea of being organic is taking a dump in the woods.

Check Oregonpackworks.com they say their pack fits all sizes. It is a very universal pack I had an Eberlestock Bluewidow and switched to the OPW pack and love it.

I'm using a mountainsmith frostfireII and I can adjust it so the loadlifters work properly. Can't do that with most packs. 6'7" 260. I have a Dana Bighorn that I prefer for a daypack. It is a medium or small and I like it partially because it stays below my neckline and allows me to use my safari sling without getting in the way. Still can carry it ocmpfortably all day. Kind of a "big" spike camp type pack. Here's the bighorn.

Amen to that. I have been using the Bomb pack for many years from hunting to backcountry snowboarding.
