I agree...you're current rig is still dynamite. However, I suspect that you still may want a new bow when you return. I don't think there will be anything released in 2013 that will be "groundbreaking" from what's been released this year, but who knows. Below are the top 3 bows I shot from the 2012 line up (I have not shot the new BowTech Insanity):
1.) Elite Answer - Unbelievably smooth draw, amazing backwall, quiet, and dead in hand. There were some early QC issues that Elite appears to have squared away, but this is arguably one of the best bows I've shot in recent memory.
2.) Carbon Element RKT - The new RKT cams are incredible. I didn't like the draw cycle as much as the Elite, but it was smooth and eerily dead in hand. It holds well for relatively short ATA, too.
3.) BowTech Invasion - I was impressed with this bow. It felt very balanced and had a fairly smooth draw. It was also quiet with little hand shock.
I also shot the Mathews Heli-M and thought it was a great bow.
I ended up with the Elite Answer (previous BowTech fanboy) and shoot it daily. It still amazes me.
I wouldn't get caught up with speed bows being noisy. The Drenalin is a plenty fast bow and the newest bows aren't that much faster. If it is a problem, you can usually increase your arrow / BH weight to reduce speeds while generally maintaining KE. I'd venture to guess that having lived in AZ that elk was on the menu. I bowhunt only elk and mulies and prefer a heavier arrow.
Good luck!
