OP hotweatherhunter Campfire Member H Joined: May 2004 Posts: 338 southeast georgia	I have been thinking of ordering a model 70 sporter in 264 Winchester because somehow I've managed to find myself without a wood stocked rifle. I haven't been able to handle one of these in person and was wondering if the grip cap on these rifles is made of metal. Not a big deal but I would like to know.
