Look for places with lots of public ground. That is easy to find in WY. The guys at the game and fish are very helpful to so don't hesitate to call them.

I have a Mathews Heli-M 28/60# . I had a mathews monster last year and it was a fast bow but i just wasnt accurate with it.I like the heli so far .My chrony shows 320fps with a 300 grain arrow but i will likely use a heavier arrow and get between 300-310 fps with it.I use spot-hogg sights, maxima 250 arrows,QAD rest,k-tech stab.I really wanted a light bow and this is it!

I shoot Victory V-1 carbon fiber arrows with FOBS and Shuttle T-Loc 100gr broadheads.

Hoyt Carbon Element, Axcel Armortech HD 5 pin, Fuse Carbon Blade Stabilizer, Fuse 6 arrow carbon quiver, Maxima 350 arrows, 100gr G5 broadheads.

Im getting 318fps with a 440gr total weight arrow drawing 73#'s at 31.5"

Couldn't be happier with it. It's accurate, light, smooth draw, firm wall, whisper quiet and no hand shock.

I just changed my Draw Length, I had it a bit to short, now it is 29.5 inches shooing a 405 grain arrow at 280 fps with 71 foot pounds!

I have a Trophy Ridge Punisher 3 pin, Whisker Biscuit, G5 Meta, and no stabilizer yet.

A 51 lb Shrew Classic Hunter or a 56 Lb Pronghorn with 160 grain STOS depending on the day.

That is cool!

I like stick and string but I do not have the skill set to kill anything bigger than my hen turkey I did in with a longbow.

Right now I am going to use my compound to hunt pigs and a deer, maybe later in life go the trad way.

I have hunted in the past with a compound before going back to recurves and longbows. But I like the longbows better now.

It doesn't matter much to me, what other people choose tho. One of my best friends hunts with a compound and it is all good when we get out hunting together.
