I am still new to this group but it seems that yall have a good number of 336's in different calibers and configurations. I�m just wonderin if you could have just one which one would you chose? I'm stickin with my '48 pistol grip in 30-30 purly because thats all I own.

I'd keep my custom stainless 356, since I am confident that it will take anything in North America that I am likely to want to shoot.

It'd have to hang on to my 375. However, the thought of just one Marlin just ain't right.

I'd choose the 336T (Texan) in .35 Remington, with a Lyman receiver sight.
That was easy. Wish it was that easy to find 'em.

My 336C in 30/30. Got (almost) everything I need,
Rem. 55gr "Accelerators" & 110 & 125 (HP's for varments)
150 & 170 FN's & RN's & HP's for bigger stuff.
and there's also a 180gr, if I need bigger.
