My friend in NH, Andy, is a disabled Vietnam vet who feeds himself quite well with a Marlin 883S that is fitted with a Willams(?) peep sight. I think that he has probably shot everything that is legal to hunt with a 22MRF and maybe some things that aren't. Since I live half way across the US from him, I don't see him very often, but whenever I do, the Marlin is always close at hand. Between the crops and livestock that he raises and the fish and games that he takes in NH and VT, I doubt that he misses any meals.

I found the same with the two sporter barreled mark II's I had. Neither shot worth a hoot with anything.
