Well this is the beach with the beach breeze. Was hot, we made shade, great food cooked on a grill, sleep all you want when you want. No one left early put it that way. The fish were caught right off the beach by wading out some. The 1000 yard lines didn't catch anything this trip except a 200 lb turtle. One of the protected kinds. Beach bunnies swarmed us on there ATV's.

I know... went with Roger in September when it was much better weather...

I just don't care for anything about 90 degrees plus, humidity that fogs my glasses and sand in my drawers... guess i could run commando though.

I like the beach in the winter when I wear a jacket and nice waders....

Still doesn't mean I won't make it, would love to, but have to really talk hard to go to more heat and humidity than what I have at home...

If Gordon will suffer me as tent mate, and El T will catch and cook me another shark I imagine I could drag down again. Someone who attended the first outing with some artistic talent (OK, talent optional) should come up with a design for my newest club suggestion: 'Turtlegirls Forever'. Or maybe 'Turtlegirls Unlimited'. Being that we're conservationists and wildlife fans, naturally.

The fishing was nothing to write home about, but with the kind of company that will show, it's worth it despite the fishing. The time was one for many, myself included, for quiet reflection, deep introspection and some mental healing. A very Zen-like experience it was.

KG, was a great weekend. I did give that tent to birdy, but we will figure out a bed for you. I got one of those tent/cot deals like Roger has to try this trip. You will have a bed somewhere even though you stay up all night and don't sleep more than 4 hours out of 24. laugh

I might get to surf fish the Joisey coast in June.

Thanks, buddy. If I come again, I'll have too much fresh seafood to haul to bring my own tent...

Woulda like to have caught something decent myself, but it was certainly interesting; first big sea turtle I have ever seen up close...
