Selling a Winchester M70 Pre-64 Fwt in 30-06. I believe this one was made in 58. Shows some minor honest wear, but in very good to excellent condition. Everything original except the pachmayer white line pad added. The gentlemen I bought this rifle from owned it for 30+ years. I believe Im the 3rd owner. Still has generous checkering un-like the 60's models. Shows good blueing on bolt handle, floorplate, and extractor collar. Nothing on this gun has been tinkered with (trigger, bedding, etc.) just a good clean gun that will not disappoint. Rifle will be shipped in a hard case. $1150 TYD

Tom, that is a very nice and clean M70FW, won't last long I'm sure.

Very nice un-altered 70. Too many 06's for me.

I always did like the pre-64's and in the aught six it is something unique and special. Own one and maybe this summer, one just like this would be another great addition.

Nothing like teasing these poor bastids.....I don't blame you for having second thoughts though as I'd never get rid of my fwt 30-06......

Nobody can blame you for not selling that, I won't part with the P-64-70s I have until I cannot even move anymore. The Fwts. in .30-06 and .270 and the Alaskans in .338WM rank with the Brno ZG-47 and 21/22 series rifles as the best factory production bolt sporters ever offered to hunters.

I have quite a collection of all of these and have had 43 P-64-70s from 1968 to date, tells you what I think!
