For a new shooter to have fun on a money tight budget,don't over look the S&W 22A .Yeah i know its cheap $200 gun. I have one and my buddy got one and after a slight break in they are shooters, (both have been eating anything we feed 'em) .I have a Ruger MKII -10" bull with Bomar sights and trigger work that the cheap out of the box 22A sure tries to give a run for the money. Easy to mt a redot. i put a red dot on my original bbl and ordered a 4" just for field carry . Just food for thought ~~Chaser1

My 22S is a nice shooter too .... I did forget that one. I got it used. Won't stay open on last shot any longer, but it is accurate and digests anything I feed it.
