The 35 Rem is based on a totally different case than all of the rimless Remington rounds ie: 25rem, 30rem,32rem. Obviously remington was trying to reproduce winchester rounds for their model 8 semi-autoloader, then later the model 14 and 141 slide-actions.

You can also order 6.8 SPC brass and just neck it up to 30. cal.this is a stock Reminington item.

I believe the 6.8 is 9mm too short. The .30 Rem brass is available for US$26.80 per hundred, even at my local baitshop.
