My great grandfather and grandfather - maternal side- died from this in ther mid 50's. Being 52 years of age, I am ALL OVER staying on top of this. Yep, heriditary mostly. Called my kids to tell them last night, once I knew for sure what I had and what the official prognosis was (Or, more correctly wasn't) and told them all, especailly my son as it hits males most often and hardest, to keep an eye out.

Mark, sorry to hear of this added complication with your kidneys. That sucks. But I too am lifted up by your attitude dude. You rock. I will strive to keep my pending job loss in perspective as it is nothing compared to what so many others suffer, yourself included due to your health issues. My love to you brother.
