What is the best way to remove the factory pad?
I want to replace the 1/2" hard rubber pad with a 1" Limbsaver or Decelerator. I have never messed with a glued pad...

I use a 94 - 96 tooth carbide cutoff blade to remove the factory pad and then glue a wooden block in place to attach the new pad.. ![[Linked Image]](http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z167/Westpac_photos/HSPrecBlock.jpg)
