You have to stay away from that site! Hell just stoped by one day to do a little browsing, for what I don't even remember. Some how another, I wound up dropping a bid on a fairly decent looking rifle, knowing that it would go no where... And [bleep], having forgot all about it about a week later I get an E-mail saying that my bid was the winning bid and to make araingements with the seller. I'm not even going to mention the bid I laid down and won with, cause I know it was a fluke, an accident, or maybe the luck of the Irish. But needless to say, I now have a new to me Winchester M70 Super Grade in 7mm Rem. Mag. that has a U.S. made Burris FullField 3-9x scope mounted in Leupold Double-Dovetail rings and bases that looks like it was put together and never shot... not a mark on it, in the wood or the metal, closest to 100% of any rifle I've bought that wasn't new... Only thing I'm not quite sure about is the floorplate, for a M70 Classic CRF, it's a 2 piece highly polished unit stamped with "Super Express", I would have thought it would have been a one piece unit stamped with "Super Grade". Barrel is stamped "Classic Super Grade", and the stock is unbelievable, inleted swivels, ebony tip, and high polish. Rifle has the jewled bolt and a jewled follower. Here I've been trying to sell stuff to make room in the safe, and/or finish a custom that is stuck at the half-way point, and now I'm stuck with this! Phil

I'll take it off your hands at no cost to yourself, I'll send you my address and all you need to do is tell me how much it's going to cost to ship it.

Browsing GB is a bad thing for the pocket book. Sounds like you scored on a nice one. It can happen!

Na, just means now I have to try and score some 7mm ammo, brass, dies, and reloading components. I've got too many different calibers now... I've never had a 7mm before, so it's more learning and going to the range, and less time with the wife and the things that need to be done around the house! Phil

Let us know what you paid and somebody will take it off your hand. With a floor plate from a Super Express, we can feel your pain.

lookin for pics myself, or at least a link to the auction so we can see a small pic. NICE GRAB! You have a VERY fine hunting rifle.
I handload for three good hunting buds with 7mm Remmy's including my dads that he took to Africa. All of the rifles use the same load for all mannner of game from deer to Bear to Zebra to Eland to Elk etc. etc. Fed 215 Primer lighting a stiff dose of H4831SC behind a Barnes 120gr TTSX loaded deep in the case. Accurate and VERY deadly. My BIL took his large bodied Mule Deer with this load at 680 yards fall before last. DRT, baby.

Pictures will be forth coming, but probalby not until tomorrow. Scope will probably have to be swaped out, it's a little too far forward for my liking... nice reticle though, it's a medium crosshair with 4 lower hash marks for ranging. Phil

Hell, I don't know if it will come up on someone else's computer but the auction number was;
#272440025
Those pictures don't do the rifle justice though...

What surprised me is my posting the starting bid, and no one else bid on it.

Excellent! And don't give up on that scoep too early. they are good solid relaible glass. If it has a good FOV/sight picture when mounted that far forward, ROLL with it and avoid scope bite.
