Seattle rocks. My kids love it (we take the ferry over from Bremerton). My brother has lived there since the late 80's.

I like to walk around the old part of downtown Seattle. That war memorial breaks my heart. The underground is cool.... the surplus store always gets some of my money.

I'm always looking at funky for-lease spaces and seeing such possible opportunity there. So much "juice". With those noisy ugly abominations of raised roadways by the waterfront coming down, that'll really open that area up...

I don't know about Waders parents owning a Outback Steakhouse, I know they own a diner about 90 minutes south of Seattle off the Hwy 12 exit that has great food.

In terms of steakhouses not much tops FX McRory's, Ruth Chris or El Gauchos for in Seattle proper.

If your looking for a burger after the zoo the Red Mill right by the zoo is absolutely top notch.

Seafood at the Ivars on the waterfront never sucks.

The Seahawks played in the Kingdome until they tore it down they now play their games at Qwest Field or Centrylink field at the site where the Kingdome used to be and tne Mariners play ball at Safeco Field across the street from Qwest Field.

The Sonics used to play their games at Seattle Center the site of the Seattle World Fair, before they moved East.

Red mill burgers are great!
