http://msn.foxsports.com/collegebas...-fight-dialysis-clinic-final-four-032712Saw this on the 10 O'Clock news last night. Both men look to be in their 70's. Two men have taken the fierce Kentucky-Louisville sporting rivalry to another level, getting into a fist fight during treatment at a dialysis clinic.
Police were called to the clinic in Georgetown, Ky., after self-proclaimed diehard Kentucky fan Ed Wilson and Louisville fan Charles Taylor let their emotions get the better of them ahead of Saturday's Final Four meeting between the two teams in the NCAA tournament, WKYT-TV reported Tuesday. "I think this is a first at a dialysis center," Lt. Robert Swanigan said. Wilson, who was getting treatment when the fight took place Monday, claims Taylor was running his mouth about how Louisville would beat the Wildcats. "That's what started it," he said. But Taylor, who was waiting for treatment at the time, saw it differently. "I didn't talk to him about the ball game. I was talking to another guy about the game," Taylor said. "[Wilson] was meddling and told me to shut up and gave me the finger. "I wasn't gonna take no more from him," Taylor added. "I went up to him and I hit him. Didn't hit him that hard, but I hit him." Wilson, restricted because of the treatment, said it was difficult to retaliate. "I'm sitting there hooked up to a machine and I can't do anything," he said. Wilson said he was sorry the incident happened and that he hoped Taylor "won't come [to the clinic] at the same time as me anymore." Wilson, who will not be filing charges against Taylor, said a Wildcats win would be all the justice he needed.

I like it! Good to see that the fighting spirit doesn't go away with age. I bet the police had fun on that call.

I KNEW that was gonna happen , Kentuckians are stupid crazy about 'bassetbaugh' and it was guaranteed someone would be retarded enough to punch someone over it. I'd hope that with age, would come wisdom, but obviously that's not the case. I'm a transplant, and don't give a rip one way or another , but I live a mile from UofL, and gotta give them props for being there, but I won't lose any sleep either way.

A friend of mine was telling me his mother is getting kicked out of a senior's home if she doesn't stop fighting with this other woman that she doesn't get along with. I was laughing and saying "no way", he said yeah, these old ladies wale on each other with their canes.
The major difference between belief and fact is those who believe something have come to a conclusion no facts will contradict. Well informed people are open to new facts that oppose their beliefs. That also defines an open and closed mind.

My father in law came down with Alzheimers when he was in his late 70's.
We finally had to put him in a nursing home for people with Alzheimers.
He kinda faded in and out. Sometimes he was lucid,..other times not.
But it didn't take him long to learn the ropes.
He had about a half dozen women in there convinced that he was their husband.
My wife went for a visit and came home telling me about it. I asked my wife if he had enough left to consummate the deal with 6 wives.
She just shrugged and said, "Apparently".
A couple of the nurses there was makin' a little stink about it.
Personally, I didn't see the harm.
6 old ladies in a nursing home were getting regular visits from their long lost husbands,..and everybody was sleeping good.

Doesn't surprise me at all.
I haven't been in KY for 12 years and I still have to watch Blue play. I like the Red coach though.

Mrs. Tide is a UofL alumnus. I went to EKU. Neither of us give a rat's rollers about basketball, but you tell people that out loud, and they act like you called their mother a streetwalker.
I'll be glad when it is over. I despise basketball.

Bahahahaa! We didn't have polo ponies, but back when I played there, we did have the dairy farm right across the road from the football stadium. Smelled just like home to me.

By the way,..I told my Harlan County buddy about the the crochet underbritches that girls in Berea wear.
I don't think he got it.
He just said,..."Girls in Buh-rear wear crochet panties?"

He's better off not knowing anything about the girls of Berea College.
