Your "friend" is a moron and so are you for telling that HORSESHIT story. The fact that he is no longer in business is clear indication of that. You can always produce a f*cking BATFE ruling that supports that HORSESHIT story if you disagree.

It was civil until you decided to blatantly post HORSESHIT. And you bet, I'm going to call your f*cking ass on it. Ignorant f*cks seldom see value in factual data. You've proved that.

Oh Look! The little wanna be tough knows a few bad words. Pick them up on the 'net did ya? Probably at the same time that you were pretending you were an expert on BATF rules and regs.

You are a tiresome little troll - go back into your poor old Mom's basement and pretend some more. You should really think about getting a paper route or something so you can help her pay for your porn site subscriptions. Its probably past your bedtime so go to sleep and dream of little girl trolls.

It's absolutely AMAZING the f*cking BULLSHIT people will blindly accept as truth. Can we be friends? I have a LOT of BULLSHIT ideas and stories I'd like someone to believe and you seem like just the rube to buy into it.

Of course, there's always the possibility some enterprising Bre'r Rabbit type of guy might've, just might've, made up some knucklehead story to get some boob like you the hell out of his shop. But I'm sure that NEVER would've happened with you, would it?

..."Can we be friends?" No, I'm afraid we can't. See, I'm an adult and I hang out with adults. Little folks like you, who have fictitious alter-ego's who are big, bad men of another race and possibly a different species should be in a special place all their own -- and not locked up in yo' mama's cellar. That would keep you from playing on the internet and it would also protect you from those bad folks yo' mama brings by and makes yo' play "nice-nice" with.

Runs along and makes yo' mama some money now. You poor, sorry little bastard.

Yeah, but you believe any old horseshit anyone tells you, and I'm definitely looking for someone like that.

At any rate, since you decided to open the door for some scrutiny, let's see this BATFE ruling forbidding the manufacture of these triggers.

Oh little Bricky, I do believe that you are looking for someone gullible enough to believe your horseshit. You spend so much of your fruitless, meaningless life posting horseshit on this site that it is painfully obvious you are desperately and sadly looking for someone who will justify your pathetic existence by paying some attention to you.... it's tragic really. Good Luck Little Guy!

To the OP, that is truly spectacular, stunning, breathtaking wood you have chosen!
I look forward to seeing this project progress.

vaturkey:

Don't mind the ruckus below. Most of us have learned to tune it out.

That's beautiful wood, and I definitely hope to see more pics as you progress.

Two comments:

One) VAturkey, the wood is spectacular and your custom project is truly inspired. I pray that it turns out to be all you dreamed of ... and more. It's gonna be fabulous.

Two) Remember when gentlemen on the 24HCF could talk about gunny stuff without being attacked from the flank? It was a wonderful time. Alas, we are diminished by our loss of a civil community.

Tegrettably, it's only a half-dozen or so, but they sound like a thosand. THEY must be really proud of themselves ... and totally friendless.

Love the rifle project -

and as distasteful as the dialogue has been at times lately,
it doesn't take much to figure out whose post not to read -
or reply to. Kinda like not stepping in dog turds.
Wish there was a better solution, but it's not the end of the
world.

Get rid of the half dozen that contantly cause problems and this site with become remarkably better. I can hardly stand to visit here anymore because of it. I have some guys on ignore but it still doesn't solve the problem.

Saw the smith today and he now has my turned stock. Next week he will start machining the Lilja blank to fit it to the receiver. He also thinks the wood is super.

Need to figure out what color leather to put on the 1/2" leather covered pad and what type inletted real swivel stud to use. Once he machines the quarter rib and sweat it to the barrel we will decide what height Talley rings to order.

Getting there for sure. I did ask him once again about the trigger pull and he said leave it alone its fine. He said its circa 2 lbs already and has zero creep. Guess I lucked out as he's builds custom benchrest rifles and thus he knows what a good trigger feels like.

Will post developments as they occur on a new thread.

WOW !!

That is a fantastic chunk of wood right there.. I look forward to more pictures of the project as you move forward (that really wasn't a request :-)... more of a demand..lol...)..

As a person who has a project on the back burners, it's nice to see someone who's moving forward, who they are using to do certain portions of the work and pictures of their progress...

Thanks all. Still trying to figure a few things out regarding scoping. I've got a 3x9x36A Swarovski ready to go on the gun, but the eye piece diameter is pretty big and thus to access the trigger I'd have to have that scope mounted about 3/8" higher then say a 2.5x8 VX3 Leupold (my second choice which I don't own currently). Both scopes are circa 11 3/8" long so they don't appear to be too large. Really like the optics on the Swarovski. They are amazing.

I wonder if people think about the ignorant [bleep] they repeat or post. Or about the motivation for the story in the first place. If I had some pogue like Johnny Swallers hanging out in my place of business -- or even within my eyesight -- I'd make up a crazy ass story to get rid of him, too. It would be a bonus if he repeated it.

What sort of crazy ass story can we make up to make YOU go away?
