I owned two Ruger M77 MKIIs. My oldest son has one and loves it. Had issues with the other, Ruger fixed it, it then shot wonderfully, and I gave it to my nephew.

A Winchester Model 54 in 7x57mm would be really nice to have. There was a Model 54 7m/m at the gun show in Harrisburg, PA 2 weekends ago.

My new one, 7X57 Mountain Rifle. Just picked it up today.
JOC was right. The 270 Winchester on a Model 70 is a great combination as is the 30/06 and 375 H&H
