Pretty rifle! Sorry, no clue of the value. Curious, is ammo still available?

The Model 94AE in 375 Winchester may be one of the most rare, regularly cataloged post WWII Winchester rifles. Very few were produced and it is a good argument as to how many! We need to remember that low production nmbers does not allways indicate great value, but it should bring a very good premium over a top eject model.
Below is a link to a thread on the 375 Winchester Model 94AE which discusses the rarity of the rifle.
Beartooth forum member Maroontoad (Snow) who also posts on the Campfire, has an Angle Eject 375 Winchester and the second link is to his thread.
The third link is to a reloading thread, just in case you intend to shoot your rifle.

Any opportunity to purchase an Angle Eject 375 Winchester Big Bore rifle should not be overlooked by a lever gun fan. There are some additional Model 94s of recent manufacture that are rare, the .25-35 AE for instance. There are a very few Angle Eject 375 Winchester, Model 94 AE rifles that are not drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Two of these were discussed on the Beartooth Shooters forum at one time or another. There are some pre-Big Bore rifles with thick, smooth side receivers rather than the cheeks of the Big Bores. These two configurations were not cataloged and really do not count as production rifles.

Bases are no problem at all. Winchester parts has the one you need. I'll post a link with the part number.

Look at post 8 and 14 in this thread. Post 8 has a drawing of the front base and post 14 has the part number from the Winchester parts site.
Remeber the Winchester base does not come with screws, you have to buy them extra.

I would like to send a big thank you to william iorg also. I was lucky to stumble on to a .375 94ae several months ago, no box, but looked new and unfired. I promptly found a box of ammo, so its been fired for sure now. I have been gathering bullets, powder , brass and found a like new rcbs 250 gr. mold. I have found a few cast bullets from some other molds to try also. I also found 444 marlin 94ae timber carbine and have gained some insighton where to start reloading for it by reading some of the threads william has posted. I will try to get some good pics and hope to get some rounds loaded soon. I belong in the same camp with william about shooting not looking at my guns. Thanks again for all the info and good shooting

Did you find the links to the 2001 era threads? The Winchester does not have the relief cut in the left side of the receiver as the Marlin does. This means the wide meplat bullets like the 310-grain Lee and the LBT bullets need to be loaded to a shorter COAL. This is not a big deal, if you know about it!

I have read quite a few of the old threads, factory remington loads just barely fit through the loading gate. I have been trying to get my loading bench and suplies unpacked and set up. For the .375 i have some 200 gr Sierra, 220 gr fp Hornady 235 gr gc cast from Ranchdog's mold, 265 gr gc lyman. Have h4198 and reloder 7 sure to find something it likes. I have the parts catalog downloaded, need to get the scope bases and screws ordered. Will likely use a small low power scope. Thanks again
